Sabrina Carpenter – Short n’ Sweet
As I have got older, for some reason I have really go into solo pop music, I don’t understand why but here we are. After her smash hit ‘Espresso’ I thought that this album was going to be a bit tough-going. Turns out it is really fun to listen to and the lyrics actually made me laugh a couple of times. Pitchfork media even gave it an 8.0, which is high praise indeed. Go on and have listen, the tickets to watch her are probably as difficult to get as Oasis ones mind. Available wherever you stream or buy your music.
Percy Pigs – Veggie
Want to know what could make Percy Pigs better? Green ears and making them extra chewy, due to a lack of gelatine. I will take that, available from your local Marks and Spencer.
Napoli signing a load of players
Romelu Lukaku, Scott McTominay, Billy Gilmour, Neres and many, many more. For some reason Napoli have signed a load of random players and will probably be a better team for it. I for one am excited to watch the first Lancastrian ever (Scott McTominay was born in Lancaster!) to play for my glorious southern Italians. Forza Napoli sempre.
funk.BR – São Paulo (NTS)
From the sublime to the ridiculous. I started listening to this album earlier in the week and I haven’t stopped, it sounds unlike anything I have heard before. Brazilian rap mixed with super lo-fi beats and choruses that make me want to learn Portuguese to try and understand what they are talking about. I will ask Anabela. Available wherever you stream or buy your music.
Torhill Hi GORE-TEX
If I was going back to school this week, I would probably be begging my mum for these and ending up with something fqr more sensible from Winfields. Gore-tex and suede with a really nice sole unit that make wallabees look like they are from the dark ages. Available in store and via the Clarks website.
