I am weirdly specific about aprons and it isn’t because I trained at a world famous French pastry school or took a Chicago sandwich restaurant and turned it into a Michelin-starred restaurant, I just think that when you are wearing an apron you mean business.
We have done many different aprons in the past and now Steve at the factory in Accrington says that this one is ‘The Rolls Royce of aprons’ and I have got to agree. As with all things TRiCKETT we start off with the fabric, it is a hefty panama fabric in navy blue that is heavy, washes well and just seems to get better and better with each wash.
At the front there are two pockets with a utensil loop for putting tongs, wooden spoons or putting your keys on. At the neck is a strap with brass poppers so that you can create a custom fit for your neck and if you prefer a waist apron, you can fold down the top part and hide behind the bottom section of the apron.
The most common question we get asked is ‘do the ties come all the way around the front so that you can tie the apron at the front?’ And the answer is a resounding ‘yes.’ They are long enough even for me and I am more of an eating chef as opposed to a cooking chef… if that makes sense? The aprons are lovingly made for us in Accrington by Steve, Nicki and the team and are amongst the best things we have ever stocked. There is a small TRiCKETT label to the front and a ‘Made in Accy’ label to the back with care instructions.
This may be as close as I ever get to owning a Rolls Royce, which is no bad thing. However, I’d like to see you make a bolognese in a Roller!!! If you want to look like Carmen from the Bear, why not add this to your basket plus a chef’s cloth and get both for just £35. Sounds good to me.

Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
