Sometimes a tea towel isn’t hardy enough and a pair of oven gloves a little too cumbersome, so we decided to create the best of both worlds and call it the chef’s cloth. We have had these kicking around the TRiCKETT shop for over 5 years and they are a real fan favourite due to their multitude of uses.
The textile is a herringbone twill that is untreated and super-insulated. This means you can wrap it around a pan handle or use it to take things out of the oven without the risk of burning yourself. The chef’s cloth gives you more control than an oven glove and you can tuck it down the side of your apron and really look like you know what you’re doing.
They are bound in navy blue polycotton and finished with a TRiCKETT label to the top. What could possibly make them better? THEY ARE MADE IN ACCRINGTON, that’s what makes them better! These beauties are manufactured for us by John and the gang right in the centre of Accrington. I mean, it doesn’t really get more local than that does it? All the fabric and labels are from Burnley too… which is nice.
If you want to look like Carmen from the Bear, why not add this to your basket plus an apron and get both for just £35. Sounds good to me.
