There is just something magical about red socks. I must have about 10 pairs and one of those pairs is the exact pair of socks that the Pope wears… genuinely, I digress. One of the worst things about socks of all kinds is the fact that they leave a mark on your shin / ankle when you wear them and that is never a good thing. So we got your thinking caps on with our oldest supplier in Leicestershire and asked if they could come up with sock that was the typical TRiCKETT quality that you would expect, but with a little less squeeze and they came up with the ‘Soft Top Socks.’

These beauties feature a tight-knit foot, which stays snug in your shoe/clogs with a much looser and wider knit part at the top of the sock for a nicer, breezy feeling but without lacking in style or looking like you’re a school girl wearing rouched socks. The red colour is vibrant but without looking like you have severe sunburn and just seems to go with any and all outfits. The 92% cotton content also means that your feet won’t smell when you wear them.

The socks are made in Leicester by Ian and the team at a near ancient factory on the outskirts of Loughborough, the home of hosiery in the UK. If you want three pairs, you can stock up and get them for just £32, which means you’ll have some great quality socks in an ace colour (and no ankle irritation!) for a fraction of the price of a pair of ‘premium socks’.
