The classic TRiCKETT Tartan Scarf pays homage to our company colours and the equally important fact that it just looks ace. Navy, cream, white, grey and beige come together in a tartan that should get along very nicely with most of your wardrobe. Sometimes choosing a scarf can be that straightforward.
Made in Scotland from 100% pure new wool, it’s equally at home tucked into a winter coat or worn with a navy jumper and whatever jacket you’ve left by the door. The colours are quiet enough for everyday wear, but give you something interesting poking out from under your collar.
The cloth is woven at a family-owned mill in Selkirk, in the Scottish Borders. Established in 1975 by a textile designer who began making handwoven ties while studying in London, the mill went on to produce fabrics for the likes of Vivienne Westwood and Christian Dior. When its founder retired, the family behind our scarves bought the mill, keeping its looms running and its weaving skills in Scotland. It still produces their tartans today.
Pure new wool means wool that hasn’t previously been used or recycled. Warm, useful and something to bring out every autumn when you remember that leaving the house involves weather.
Our colours, Scottish weaving and a warm neck. Lovely.
