Long time fans of TRiCKETT will know that I am a huge fan of incense. More or less every day at HQ starts with me lighting some and feeling a sense of calm before 40 different couriers land with boxes of things that I had forgotten that I had ordered and I have to sort them all out. So for our new range of incense we went to one of the original birthplaces of incense, India and came up with a couple of scents that will definitely make you day smell better.
This one is called ‘The bat of Sachin’ and is dedicated to India’s greatest cricket player and his home city of Mumbai. Jasmine is the sacred flower of the god of love Karma and is often used as an ingredient in love potions… genuinely, it is also grown in fields just outside of the city and at certain times of year can scent the air. There are also added notes of leather and wood to represent the bat and ball used by Sachin in his daily life. Add in a bit of musk and you have a very unique scent that you will want to burn again and again.
Each pack comes with 12 sticks to burn and is hand rolled in India by a family firm that has been doing it for generations. Traditional incense can be a little bit dusty when you first get it as it doesn’t have the preservatives in it to make the stick more solid, that the more commercial sticks have. As a result, our incense is full of scent and fills a room much better, I promise you’ll notice.
The sticks come in a custom-made box with our exclusive artwork, which to be fair is probably worth paying the money for, Hindi on one side and English on the other. Maybe just show the Hindi side to friends and you can pretend to them that you can read it. So start/end your day right with some beautiful incense made the traditional way.
Incense Safety: Always use a suitable incense holder and place on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and away from flammable materials.
