When I was about 7, I begged my dad to buy me an Arsenal shirt with a very specific pattern on it. He found a place in Bolton which sold the shirt and we travelled there one Saturday afternoon to buy it. It was hung up high next to other, more local, teams’ jerseys and as the shop manager gave it to me he enquired, “Are you and your dad big Gunners fans?”
I looked at him quizzically, glanced at my dad and replied, “I only like football for the shirts.” More than perplexed, the shop assistant rung up our total, we paid and left the shop. After getting past the shop my dad put his arm around me and said, “Maybe don’t say that again, it’ll only confuse people.”
A few decades later, I quickly discovered, through the magic of the internet, that there were more and more people exactly like me, so I decided to create a graphic dedicated to those of us who prefer aesthetics to tactics. Each letter of the graphic showcases an iconic pattern or shirt from my personal collection or ones that I really want to get, but I am just not willing to pay the price for… officially… See how many you can find, the last ‘S’ in ‘shirts’ always flummoxes people.
TRiCKETT is an Accrington brand and nothing makes me more excited than making things in Accrington. I probably don’t mention that I am from Accrington much looks down lens of camera… so we are proud to say that these tea towels are made in Accrington just for us, to our specification. They are made from a robust cotton that seems to get better and better with every wash, keeping those lovely colours nice and bright. We have also added a hanging loop for you to hang on a cupboard or display nonchalantly and have people ask loads of questions about it.
So feel free to frame it, use it as a collecting check sheet, or maybe… just maybe, use it to dry your pots… you barbarian! Don’t hide in your piles of polyester, get this in your kitchen and let everyone know that you only like football for the shirts… and maybe the actual match sometimes… maybe.

All orders are packed by us, sent via our local Post Office and processed by our long-time friend Shafiq. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 4pm on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
