There are some things that the UK just gets right. Tea, football songs, and the tradition of weaving wool so sturdy and beautiful that it’ll outlive you, me and probably the sofa/bed it lives on. This blanket is one of those things.
Woven in Wales using the age-old tapestry method, these designs have been knocking about since the mid-19th century and haven’t really changed all that much since, which tells you everything you need to know. Patterns are picked out on traditional looms, creating a double-cloth that feels properly substantial in your hands.
Made from 100% pure lambswool and sized to fit a UK double bed, it’ll keep you warm through winters that feel like they’ll never end and cool enough in summer when you’ve still not given in and put the fan on.
Now, colour is important to us at TRiCKETT, and this one is extra special. The greens were chosen to reflect the tiles in the entrance of my favourite local building: Accrington Library. Those tiles are so good, they’ve even been awarded Grade II listed status, so the colours here aren’t just handsome, they’re historic too.

All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. If you spend £75 or more then, postage is on us, because we like you. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
