Let me take you all the way back to 1997 when a young, impressionable Iain Trickett was sat in his bedroom listening to Snoop Dogg and reading the Source. In that particular issue there was a poster of Snoop wearing this high-necked, slightly loose, super-heavy fabric, boxy t-shirt in a crisp white and he looked absolutely amazing. From that point forward I made it my mission to find this t-shirt. About 6 years later, I found the exact t-shirt whilst browsing a shop in Florida and for me, t-shirts have never been the same.
Shaka Wear t-shirts have been the preferred choice of Californian t-shirt connoisseurs for decades because they have a neck- hugging neckline, loose sleeves, a WHOPPING 250gsm fabric and just launder really well. In fact, my all-time favourite t-shirt (Mr. Cartoon tattoo shop) is printed on one of these and it looks just as good as the day I bought it… minus the curry stain from 2019.
Our friend in LA, Jose, says that these are the only 3 colours you need and he has worked at Shaka Wear for 3 decades… so we will take his word for it. He also mentioned that, unlike competitors, Shaka has two rows of stitching around the neck for extra ruggedness. The sizing is a little different to our usual sizing, so make sure to check the size chart.
Everyone from Jay-Z to Dr. Dre to Snoop and everyone else has been spotted in one of these at one time or another and for £14, I am not sure you can do better… unlike Dr. Dre when he made the Chronic and then the Chronic 2001… but let’s not split hairs.

All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. If you spend £75 or more then, postage is on us, because we like you. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
