If you are going to make an insanely expensive pair of socks, then it needs to be for a pretty good reason and that reason is because you deserve it. Our cashmere socks have an insanely high percentage of cashmere at 80%, when most socks that claim to be cashmere are like 25% and then the rest is made up of weird stuff. We don’t do half measures here at TRiCKETT. The reason why we haven’t made a 100% cashmere is that they would basically fall apart if you wore them anywhere that wasn’t in your bed, so don’t come at me with that!
Our cashmere comes from the best spinner of cashmere in the world, Johnston’s of Elgin, who have been making cashmere yarns since time began more or less. This particular navy blue is about as soft and beautiful as it gets. So we have a beautiful yarn, we need it to get someone who knows what to do with it, so we enlisted the help of our mate Steve in Scotland to make these socks into something you can wear. So we went with a cushioned sole, ribbed leg and forefoot sock that is calf length so, yes, we have made the best pair of socks that exist in the world.
We have designed these socks to be worn regularly, but like for nights out and going to the pub, I personally wouldn’t wear them for a mountain climb etc as there are socks that are much better at that sort of thing. However, once you put these on, you probably won’t want to take them off.
Each pair comes packaged in lovely cotton twine and a letter pressed TRiCKETT logo card, just to make it extra special. The best, most expensive pair of socks we have ever made and they are just waiting to be put on your feet.
