As you may know, I am a huge Napoli enthusiast and more than that, I am also a very big football shirt fan, mix into that pot how much I love table linen and you have a recipe for the perfect product. Our new tea towel charts all of the home and away shirts worn by Napoli between 1980 and 1990 with some kits on there that I didn’t even know existed, which makes it almost a historical document… maybe.
The artwork is done for us by the wonderfully talented Peter O’Toole as part of his ongoing research into documenting every football shirt that has ever existed between 1980 and 1990 via his Studiotoole Stripclub. Each illustration is accurately recreated so that you can use it as reference when collecting, impressing friends with your shirt knowledge or wanting to buy a shirt after you see it when drying the pots.
The towels are made in Accrington by one of our oldest suppliers and are digitally printed onto a nice heavyweight cotton. So whether you plan on framing it, using it as a reference or doing the unthinkable and using it as a pot towel, you will love having this in your home.
FORZA NAPOLI SEMPRE.
