Sometimes we all need to remember that cups are great and winning them and other trophies is nice, but what you need to remember is that you like cups and that will never change.
The Harry Kein Steins are inspired by England’s much loved captain and his current inability, despite his best efforts, to win anything for club or country. He is currently plying his trade in Bavaria so I decided to decided to get in touch with our mate Andrea in Munich and create a cup paying homage to Harry. Although this is the first cup to make its way to Harry, I am sure it won’t be his only one. However, if it is, then we are proud to give it to him.
The cups are made using traditional stein techniques which mean that there is a small pocket of air inside the cup which helps to insulate your beverages, whether they are hot or cold, which is nice. Andra says she likes to put her stein in the freezer overnight and have an ice-cold beer whilst watching Dortmund (she is originally from there, so I get that she really doesn’t want Harry to win anything).
The cup in a half litre as is the traditional serving size in Germany and it makes you look like a dedicated drinker… no-one knows that I have shandy in mine. So cheer on Harry, his lack of cups and his love for them.
