There are some things in life that you really do not need to spend too much time thinking about and to be honest, for me, it was considering whether we would make an 8 pack of chocolate cigars. Then, the night before the Napoli match where they won the scudetto (I probably haven’t mentioned that much), my mate Joe and I went to speak with master chocolatier Mario in his workshop in Napoli.
Like always, I was busily eating through samples that he gave us when Joe saw some chocolate cigars that Mario was making by hand. Joe asked if he had a box to put them in to look like a cigar box and, as always, Mario obliged. When all 8 cigara were perfectly slotted into the box, we all looked at each other and knew we had a hit!
The cigars are made from an outer layer of dark chocolate and then filled with a hazelnut praline, which Mario has specifically created to look like the inside of a cigar. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it for the first time and I am still a bit astounded by it now. It goes without saying that these beauties taste beautiful, like everything that Mario does for us. Each cigar is then hand- wrapped in brown foil with the ‘house’ branding and gold label placed on the outside to look even more like a vintage cigar.
The chocolate comes presented in a Mario Gallucci gift box that is slightly bashed to give it a vintage feel, like those people that keep cigars in a humidor for years and then break them out for special occasions. And just to make them feel even more authentic, we have created a certificate of authenticity like what you get with Cuban cigars. It only really certifies that they taste good, but still looks good doesn’t it?
I know it goes without saying, but please eat them and don’t try to light them, they may look good enough to smoke, but they really aren’t. Also these ‘cigars’ contain hazelnuts and by purchasing this item you understand that they do contain nuts and will not give them to people who have a hazelnut allergy.
So, cigars that look good enough to eat, inspired by Napoli’s fourth scudetto, designed by my mate Joe, created by our mate Mario and eaten by you and me. Seems fair.
Ingredients: sugar, cocoa paste, hazelnuts 25%, cocoa butter, cocoa 48% minimum, hazelnut paste.
Emulsifier: lecithin (soya), flavourings. (May contain traces of milk).

All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. If you spend £75 or more then, postage is on us, because we like you. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
