Ever since we first started here at TRiCKETT we have sold woolly hats and up until last year, we had never really sat down and changed the shape of them so after our original supplier closed their doors, it gave me the kick I needed to go back to the drawing board. So after some tweaking and sampling, we have come back with our new and improved 2025 bob hat.
The hat comes in 100% wool that is spun and knitted in lovely Scotland, but the main difference from our usual hats is the ribbed main body of the hat and a much improved shaping. The fit of the hat hugs much closer to the head than our older style of bobble hat and can accommodate even the largest of melons in there. We have also brushed it like we brush our jumpers to make them look extra worn in.
So for the launch of our new hats, we had a look at some of the coolest woolly hat wearers and that brought us to French naval officers and explorers of the 19th century. Apparently they wore bright blue hats on certain ships so that you could see if anyone went overboard, I just think that they look super cool.

All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. If you spend £75 or more then, postage is on us, because we like you. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
