Ever since I was a kid, I have always been a big fan of having all of the stuff to make you look like you know how to do something without actually possessing the knowledge to perform like it. I remember wearing a roll neck and gloves like Paolo Maldini when trotting out as starting central defender for Huncoat United. Did it make me play any better? No. However, did I feel great? Yes!
So this graphic was created to pay homage to all of us that like to look the part and at least pretend to know what we are doing. If you are not from the UK, ‘All the gear and no idea’ is a phrase used to describe people that like the things associated with a task more than actually doing the task. Now that I have explained that, I imagine it is even less funny that when you first read this… quite a feat if you ask me.
The bright blue t-shirt is printed with a red and cream graphic with a wonderful metallic gold print just to make it look extra special. The tops are printed by hand in Huddersfield by the wonderful Jim and his team who definitely have all the gear and all the idea. There is a print on the back and front left chest so that regardless and whether you are in front of behind, people will know that you will always have the nice gear and no ability.
If you want to make the accountant even more annoyed you can mix and match these t-shirts with any on our website and get 3 for £90, if that doesn’t encourage you to throw all your other t-shirts into the charity donation pile then I don’t know what will. All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. If you spend £75 or more then, postage is on us, because we like you. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
