It seems weird to make a bag to go away for a weekend with when I haven’t been on a weekend away for what seems like years. However, I thought this would be an excellent way for me to incentivise doing it, so here is the Weekender Holdall.
Like all things we start with the fabric and this bag is made from a soft, sturdy and rugged bonded cotton canvas which is the best fabric from which to make bags like this. Two layers of canvas are bonded together to rubber to create an almost entirely waterproof fabric which will last for years. The deep olive colour of the bag will make you think of drinks on the terrace as the sun goes down or it will make you think that you are a fictional character in a 1950s film noir. Either is fine with me.
There are English bridle leather handles and reinforcements throughout the bag so that the most impacted areas of your bag don’t wear too quickly and because it makes the bag look extra swish. There is also brass hardware throughout which has been cast in the UK also, there is also a hook for your Labubu or whatever else you want to hang off there too. My favourite things are the 4 ‘feet’ at the bottom of the bag that make a reassuring tap whenever you place them on a surface. You instantly go from looking like you have a nice bag to people saying to you, ‘Wow, you must be a person of style and distinction to have such a nice bag.’
The main compartment of the bag is secured with a wonderfully sleek zip that has a really beautiful feel to it, I have no idea why I like this zip as much as I do, but I really do. Inside the bag you will find a side compartment to separate you shoes or anything else you don’t want flying around in your bag. The bag is the perfect size for a weekend away and our mate Joe says it is “Slim enough to fit in the overhead storage on a Class 390 Pendolino.”
Now all you need to do is find somewhere to go for the weekend. I vote for Accrington, but I would say that.

All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. If you spend £75 or more then, postage is on us, because we like you. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
