These Piluso “La Gloriosa Número 12” hats are made by hand and printed by hand in Argentina, using traditional screen-printing and done the slow way, by people who understand exactly what this phrase means. No shortcuts, no mass production, just honest work and a lot of football culture baked in.
I’ve always admired Argentine football fans, but Boca supporters take things to another level entirely. The bucket hat is part of the uniform, not for show, but for survival. Heat, rain, heartbreak, late nights and long journeys… the piluso stays put. It’s practical, defiant and completely inseparable from the match-day experience.
LA GLORIOSA NÚMERO 12 refers to Boca’s supporters themselves, the twelfth player. The crowd. The noise. The pressure. The belief that the fans aren’t just watching the game, they’re actively shaping it. These were found by my mate Yaz, in Argentina, rooting around and doing what she does best, talking to people, following leads and finding brilliant things you won’t stumble across by accident. Because of that, you genuinely can’t get these anywhere else. Once they’re gone, that’s your lot.

All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. If you spend £75 or more then, postage is on us, because we like you. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
