Acme have been making whistles since 1870 and have made them for the armed forces, schools, work places and even more. I once read that Winston Churchill carried one in his pocket too. Anyways we decided that is we were going to make a whistle, that we had to make it with the best and that is why our whistle is the Acme Thunderer… the Rolls Royce of whistles.

These whistles are still hand made in the UK (Birmingham) and are tested throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that the final product is as good as it possibly can be. Ours comes with the Mabel mascot engraved on the side so that when you are using it you can pretend to be a college head coach from the ’70s.

Each comes presented in a display case and comes with a certificate to let you and anyone else that cares know that you have a genuine Thunderer whistle.
