If you have been following TRiCKETT closely for a while, even before TRiCKETT existed, you will know that these types of bags have a VERY special place in my heart. They are more formal than a backpack and less like the type of thing someone who gives food hygiene ratings would wear.

All of the components for this bag are made right here in the UK. From the leather and brass, right through to the canvas and webbing, this is about as good as it gets. Inside there is one large compartment which can comfortably fit the most obnoxiously sized laptops and whatever else that you need to stuff in there. There are two press-stud pockets to the front for you to store chargers, cans of pop or your bed Guinea pig in an emergency. The flap is kept securely in place by two leather straps with buckle adjustments. On the subject of leather, the entire bag is trimmed in British leather just to make it extra luxurious.

The shoulder strap is made from ultra-rugged webbing and there is a brass buckle to adjust how high you want the bag to sit. The bottom of the strap is then reinforced with a leather patch with the TRiCKETT logo on one side. It is reinforced the same way on the other side, but this side has a key loop… in brass of course. The bag comes in a waterproofed and hefty canvas with the lid and back in classic British khaki and navy blue to the front and sides.

The bag design is based on the classic game bags from yesteryear, but upgraded for a bit of extra luxury so whether you are fishing in the Scottish Highlands or eating fish and chips in East Lancashire, your bag won’t be out of place. Each bag is made by Jane and her team right here in the UK. The bags are so durable that they should last a lifetime, even with minimal care.
