I know, how ace are these? Henry Watson have been making lovely things for your kitchen since 1800 and we believe that their butter dish is one of the nicest things that they produce. We went to meet the lovely people at the factory earlier in the year and we were amazed by the wonderful workshop and kilns that are still being used in the same place where it all started in 1800.
This particular butter dish is made from terracotta and has a glazed inside. This means that you can dip your dish in cold water and it will retain the cold in order to keep your butter nice and cold, magic eh? Each box is fettled by hand meaning that all the edges are made nice and smooth by a craftsperson, no machining here! The box comes with a sturdy lid and is ideally suited to a 250g block of butter, but you’re a grown up, you can work it out. Finally, let’s talk about that logo on the side, I mean, if it is good enough for taking on safari, then it’ll probably be good enough for your kitchen work top.
Made in the UK.
