Our Tuning t-shirt has a couple of inspirations behind it, one that you would probably expect and one that you probably won’t. The first is the very obvious American muscle car shops that there were across the country in the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s which all had their own unique mascot and branding. Once your engine had been tuned by one of these shops, they would slap on a sticker, air freshener or hand you a t-shirt with their logo on for extra publicity.
So we decided to create our own helpful mascot with his sleeves rolled up, wrench in one hand and tyre in the other. We gave it a real 1950s look to make it look like you have a really old Ford that you had tuned way back in the day, we won’t tell anyone you have a 25 plate Qashqai. I also would love to know where he got those boots from as I have been looking for a pair like that for ages.
The pink and size of print is a nod to a brand that everyone wore here in the UK back in the day. They used to put numbers and Japanese cities on their t-shirts and they were THE ultimate accessory for when you went on a night out in the UK in the early to mid-00s… I will let you work that out.
The t-shirts are screen-printed by the fair hands of Jim and his wonderful team in Huddersfield on buttery-soft cotton t-shirts. These things only seem to get better and better with every wash, which can only be a good thing. Talking of the t-shirts, this one is a beautiful slightly darker than usual pink that looks great on all skin tones.
As if this couldn’t get more exciting, you can mix and match any of our graphic t-shirts and get 3 for £79. That would mean your summer wardrobe is sorted and you have some of the best graphic tees on the market. So don’t mess about, go and get stuck in!

All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
