The best things in life are simple and that is the mantra that we used for this summer’s cotton caps. I wanted something that was easy to wear, went with every possible outfit, wasn’t too loud, but still caused a bit of a chat and I feel that with this local hat we did just that.
The embroidery for the hat is inspired by those ace caps that you see ranchers in the USA wear which have the name of the farm they work on plus the location. It looks super simple, but really effective. I am really looking forward to you wearing these abroad and people asking you if you work on a ranch and/ or, ‘Where is Accrington?’
The hat is made from a sturdy cotton twill which will get better and better the more you wear it. I hope to see you still wearing this cap in 30 years, with it looking all raggy and people still not knowing where Accrington is. The hat has no structure in the crown so it can adapt to the shape of your head and it means you don’t look like prime Soulja boy. The brim comes flat so that you can amend the fit to whatever works for you, I like to steam mine and leave it in a coffee tin overnight, but you do what feels good.
So go on, treat yourself to something that will only improve with age (unlike me) and may even start a conversation or two.
All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
