I think it is fairly safe to proclaim that I have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with shoes. Not in a weird ‘I have married a shoe’ Channel 5 documentary type way, just in a way that means I know far too much about shoes and that is no bad thing. This year I am really concentrating on bringing you the very best shoes from across Europe, but with a particular focus on the hard-wearing and beautifully made shoes of France. So, whilst in the shower, I got to thinking that I am fast becoming a connoisseur of French shoes and because I love rhyming, ‘Les connaisseurs des chaussures’ was born.
It seems that in any French town or city that you visit, there are innumerable decent shoe shops and you can always have a pretty decent chat (a conversation, not a cat) with anyone about what shoes they are wearing. Heck, quite a bit of the cult French film “La Haine” is dedicated to trainer chat, so I thought it only right to pay homage via the medium of clothing.
Inspecting our favourite French shoes are Pablo, Zizou, Hubert (from La Haine) and Jane. Underneath is ‘TRiCKETT’ and ‘Les Connaisseurs des Chaussures’, all I am going to say is that if you wear this in France, be prepared for some serious shoe chat.
The t-shirts are screen-printed by the fair hands of Jim and his wonderful team in Huddersfield on buttery-soft cotton t-shirts. These things only seem to get better and better with every wash, which can only be a good thing. Talking of the t-shirts, they come in a beautiful blue shade that goes with pretty much everything.
So find your favourite French shoes, pop them on, chuck this on top and you are ready for any kind of footwear chat that comes your way.

All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
