When the temperatures dip and the festivities begin, I always find myself reaching for the comfort and general excitement of a fairisle jumper. I am not going to go into the history of Fairisle (however, there is a great video here all about it), however, what I will say is that no self-respecting lover of clothing can be without a lovely patterned jumper like this. There is just something eternally stylish about these kind of sweaters that seems to endure. I have a picture of my dad wearing one and he has a picture of his dad wearing something similar. It’s something that can be handed down from generation to generation, which is what beautiful clothing is all about.
This jumper pays homage to the tradition of putting up a Christmas tree. Whether you meticulously match your decorations to the napkins you have on the table, or if you are like me and just throw a load of trinkets on there, every tree looks better with Christmas lights on it. So we decided to make a fairisle pattern that looked a little like the lights on a tree. The cream and green base are the representation of the tree with all the other colours in there to represent the lovely lights on the Christmas tree. Designed by us, just for us, there won’t be anyone else wearing this at the office party… unless you come to ours.
The jumper comes with ribbed hem cuffs and neck to keep the cold off. The neck is something that I particularly like because it looks great with a shirt underneath or worn just with a t-shirt. The jumpers are then finished with a MASSIVE TRiCKETT label in the neck for extra POW!
And just in case you were wondering who made these jumpers for us, it is worth mentioning that Stuart, jumper-maker extraordinaire, knits things for some of the biggest names in the world of clothing. I don’t just mean like big brands, I mean the absolute biggest fashion houses in the world. Think French, think Italian, think Japanese. I can’t say more than that other than Stuart went to the same party as Jennifer Lawrence the other week because of who he makes jumpers for…
So, get some iconic photos taken of you, wear something made of wool and not plastic for your Christmas jumper and enjoy handing it down to the next generation of jumper wearers. After all, it is a time for giving and sharing.

All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
