Diego Silk Scarf

Believe it or not, silk has been a huge part of British textile production for absolutely ages and whilst I could go on about that, you can research that in your own time… I am here to talk about how I have made a scarf that combines the words ‘football’ and ‘scarf’ into one elegant package and it doesn’t involve polyester!!!

There is a super weird story about how Macclesfield silk is so treasured that the best tie maker in the world*, E. Marinella of Napoli, have all of their silk woven and printed there. Combining British textile production and Neapolitan excellence meant that I had to do the same, but in a very TRiCKETT way. Meet the Diego silk scarf.

This beauty features images of Diego throughout his illustrious time at Napoli and Argentina. We could’ve just printed a silk hankie and had done with it, but because we wanted to make it seem that little bit more posh, the edges of the scarf are hand-rolled and sewn just like those mega-expensive pocket squares and handkerchiefs that you see in tailors shops across the world. Here at TRiCKETT we only give you the best!

The Diego silk scarf is 60cm x 60cm and can be worn however you want it to be worn, we have supplied instructions on how we might fold ours and even supplied our favourite way to tie it via a video below, but you are a grown-up, you can work it out.

So go on, whack on a Napoli scarf that is just a touch more elegant that your usual football scarf and wonder how many more Naples/England items we can dream up.
