Carlos T-Shirt – High Security

When you get a fella out of retirement to make you a t-shirt it should probably be for a good reason. Here at TRiCKETT we are always on the hunt for the best jersey-based torso coverings in the world and our new Carlos t-shirts may well be the pinnacle.
Apparently there is only one bloke in the whole world who can make 280gsm fabric which feels soft, looks the part and washes really well. This man is Carlos and he retired to northern Mexico in 2021 after a long career (starting in the 1960s) knitting fabric for the US and Mexican armies. Carlos was busily tending to his garden when he got the call from East Lancashire asking him to go back to our partner factory in Los Angeles and make some fabric for t-shirts. Thankfully, he agreed without hesitation and started sending emails with the updates.
The fabric is heavy, but not like wearing a top made of bricks. It has a wonderful texture that almost looks like ice-cream (you’ll know what we mean when you get one) and it has a really nice fit. The material used is what armies wore back in the day and has a really fancy name that I won’t pretend to know what it means. This t-shirt really does not exist anywhere else apart from us and I doubt that you will ever want to wear anything else. This is the colour worn by inmates at LA county jail to let staff know that they are a high security prisoner… just so you know.
The shirts are made completely in Los Angeles by a team of people who are paid fairly, have access to health and dental benefits and have a wage increase for every year that they work at the workshop. We have had one of our very best pals audit the factory and they say it is one of the nicest that they have ever visited, which is nice. The t-shirts are then finished by Jim and his team in Huddersfield using their classic hand screen printing technique.
We have restocked these t-shirts many times and they always seem to fly out of the door. So if you want one, don’t mess about!

All orders are packed by us, sent via our local Post Office and processed by our long-time friend Shafiq. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 4pm on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
