What you are looking at is probably the last bag that you will ever own. Simply put, after you have bought this, you won’t ever need to buy another backpack and there are many, many reasons why that is. So without further ado, let’s get into it.

Our bags are made by our mate Adrian and his team in the Lake District, what he doesn’t know about getting up mountains with bags isn’t really worth knowing. We are both so confident in the construction of these pieces luggage that we offer a lifetime guarantee against any manufacturing defects, how about that eh? So now I’ve built up how great these bags are put together, I best tell you what makes them so great.

The packs are made from a custom-woven Cordura that is made from recycled plastics and coated on the back with a natural gum that makes the bag incredibly water-resistant. The fabric is tough, rugged and surprisingly soft. It is then digitally printed with an authentic camouflage pattern, just in case you need to be invisible in a forest running away from a bear that you accidentally sat on.

There is so much storage in this thing that I am going to have to do it like a quick-fire round, so here we go. The main compartment has a maximum storage of 35 litres which is all you will need for daily use / a weekend away. Under the lid of the bag there is a zipped compartment for things that you need regular access to, like keys, passports and bars of Dairy Milk. There is an elasticated ice-pick strap which also works really well for storing your baguette and two ‘drinks holders’ on the side for storing containers and two more baguettes, should you need more bread than you can shake a (French) stick at. There is also a pouch for storing your laptop on the inside of the bag which is against the back of the bag.

If you need even more hooks there is space for carabiners for you to hook even more stuff onto the front of the shoulder straps and if you need anymore space after that, you are probably packing too much. I know that you are wondering what the strap at the bottom is for and that is if you need to attach it to a hoist to get it up to the top of the cliff or lower it to the ground. See, we have thought of everything.

All the seams are taped and reinforced so that all you need to worry about is getting up the hill and planning your route. Made in the UK from a premium fabric, space aplenty and you can go invisible if you need to. I think that is what we call a winner.
