I am sure that you know by now, but our bobble hats are pretty special. When I first started designing these hats, I wanted a hat that looked like it was knitted by your Grandma / looked like something from the ’70s, was really warm and just felt like quality when it was in your hand. All the boxes were ticked and then I decided to take it up a notch by introducing alpaca into the British wool mix.
This hat is soft, warm and is even suitable for those of us who can get irritated by 100% wool hats. The alpaca yarn is much softer and warmer than traditional sheep wool but it is super expensive so that is why we mixed it with British wool to give it some extra heft. Like adding gin to your tonic water… or something like that.
My mum makes really good bacon and that is because she always allows it to get that little bit extra crispy. So as with all things that we like, we decided that we needed to make a hat to pay homage to it. The hat is black in the main with brown and pink stripes around the front. I think it looks pretty ace and that is without you knowing how my mum cooks bacon.
The hat is knitted in the traditional cardigan stitch to give that ‘hand-made’ look and is finished with a lovely pom pom on top. The hats are expertly made by a company in the Midlands, run by Stuart and his team. They have been working with TRiCKETT since 2011 and are one of our longest serving suppliers.
No external branding and a beautiful feel on the head, a perfect hat for eating bacon or just wearing generally, you pick.

All orders are packed by us in house and sent from our HQ here in Accrington. Next Working Day is Monday - Friday only. If your order is placed after 12PM on a Friday or over the weekend this will be dispatched on the next working day and due for the delivery the following working day after that.
Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their parcel to return it back to us. To be refundable, all products must be completely unworn and unwashed, and must be returned in their original condition. All international orders are final, no refunds, exchanges or credit notes.
