The Scudetto stripe is here and for many reasons, I couldn’t be happier. For a good few years now we have been releasing striped t-shirts inspired by our love for all things calcio, but this one is super special. After a 33 year wait, Napoli have won the league and as a result we had to pay homage to this moment event through our love of striped t-shirts. And seeing as this is our final ever stripe we had to do things a little different.

For this release we have changed the label in the pocket, instead of the usual TRiCKETT label we have gone for our ‘FORZA NAPOLI!’ logo on one side and three Scudetto shields on the reverse to celebrate this momentous third win. Just to make things even more exciting, every t-shirt comes with an iron-on tricolore shield for you to place wherever you see fit.

This is a nod to those of us of a certain vintage that used to buy Italian football shirts from local sports shops and with the swing tags in the back of the neck there was a plastic pouch that had the target cup patch and scudetto shield in it. This was so that you could add the patches to your shirt should the team win the cup or league. Whether you want to put the shield on the t-shirt, add to an existing Napoli shirt or want to keep it in your scrap book, the patch is there for you to enjoy.

Each t-shirt is made from 100% cotton that is spun and knitted in Portugal by Filipe and the team. The fabric is SUPER soft and just seems to get better and better with age. The fit is what we would call ‘athletic’ not slim, not loose, just the perfect fit for ordering Negroni on your holidays. The neck is a little higher than your normal t-shirt with the neck in a matching blue rib.

There isn’t much else to say other than this may well be the best striped top that we have ever made… oh and… FORZA NAPOLI SEMPRE.
