Now, I flipping love shorts. Whenever that temperature rises about anything over 15 degrees I look at my shorts and think to myself ‘now is the time.’ Here at TRiCKETT making a good pair of shorts to last you through the summer and beyond is a bit of a speciality. So this year, we present you the hiking shorts (or the Culverhouse 2 if you are into your TRiCKETT chronology).

The first thing to mention about our shorts is the super quick drying fabric that is lightweight, super airy and has a really nice texture to it. These shorts come in our Blackpool Sea colour, which is a lovely, classic navy that goes with everything. The waist is elasticated and has a drawcord so you can make these shorts be a custom fit until your heart’s content.

Now, let’s move onto pockets, because there are quite a few. There are two front pockets for storage and an elasticated hanging loop above the right front, which you can use for keys or for hanging on a branch or whatever when you want to dry your shorts on the move. There is the Poole pocket on the right hand side between the front and back pocket, which is the pocket we designed for our mate Ben who was always complaining about his phone falling out of his shorts… it fits most phones pretty perfectly. Next is the zipped wallet pocket, but you can put whatever you want in there to keep it nice and secure and the final pocket is buttoned with a lovely popper.

These shorts were designed for those of us who like to pack light and try and keep as much gear in our pockets as possible. We have a few mates that use them for running in, some go hiking and some just go the the cinema and load up their pockets with sweets.

So nice a pair of shorts that you can load with everything important and still have space for a Magnum… that’ll do me.
