I asked Marina in Italy to make me some socks that look like the type of thing that an old Italian man would wear on a Spring day and without any further information she came up with exactly what I wanted… like always. These socks are made from a lightweight cotton that is 1×1 ribbed with a slightly thinner knit of cotton meaning that the socks are nice and airy for those warmer days and nights.

As you can see these socks come in a nice, long length so that you can wear them with trousers and not expose your shin… incidentally I once read that it was the height of bad manners to show you leg when wearing a suit… anyways. The are finished with a nice ribbed top to keep your socks nice and high (Foos Gone Wild fans will know what this means) and come in a range of 4 colours. After each pair has been made, they are finished by hand by Marina’s mum and only when she is happy so they get the pink thread through the toe as a seal of approval.
