There aren’t many thing more northern than a lovely pie. Seeing as I am a big lad, I like a big pie and finding a suitable pie dish for my tastes was nigh on impossible. So with that said we got in touch with our mates Netherton Foundry in Shropshire and asked them to make us a 10″ pie dish.

Obviously because they are well talented people, they made one for us from their wonderful spun iron. These things are wonderfully heavy and are built to last a lifetime. They come seasoned in flax oil to reduce the sticking to the pan and to make it last longer.  Flax oil is great because it is completely natural, edible and makes your pie dish non stick without using nasty chemicals and stuff that I don’t really understand.
