Year of the Ox
On the announcement of the England national squad for European Championships, I had both the emotions (sadness and mild happiness) I am usually faced with when watching anything to do with the national side. For some reason TRiCKETT favourite Grant Holt wasn’t included in the squad, although he did score 15 goals this season… I digress.
I got some mild happiness in that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be in squad, I love his little face, pacey runs forward and lack of England experience. I also like how by printing his name on the back of my replica shirt, will laugh in the face of the standard price for name and number at my local sports shop.
So let us get behind Mr. Hodgson and enjoy the upcoming feast of football!
