TRiCKETT 2012 Awards

It is that time of year again where we all compile a list of things that we have liked this year and share / force them on others. However seeing as this has been our first full year in business it seems apt that we should celebrate the people and things that have made us smile throughout 2012.

Sports Personality: EJ Manuel – Florida State Quarterback who plays the game with ease and just so happens to be Mrs. TRiCKETT and Fern’s favourite American Football Player… I wonder why.

Sporting Event: San Francisco Giants – World Series. Yep, sometimes baseball is boring, we know, however for the first time in ages I watched a team I like actually win something with ease. A joy to behold.

Clothing Brand: S.E.H Kelly – These chaps really don’t need anyone else telling them how great they are, but they really have become a truly brilliant brand in 2012 and there is more to come next year. A genuine inspiration for us.

Item of Clothing: SEH Kelly – Ventile Mac – You can most likely see a theme developing here, but what British people don’t know about rain isn’t worth knowing and this jacket will forever keep you protected from pesky precipitation.

Wildcard: Twitter – When we set up our Twitter we didn’t know that we would enjoy it as much as we would do but checking in with people like @yakhunt, @hiltonshoegazer and keeping up with LeBron’s eating habits made it one of our 2012 picks.
